In order to enable all team members to easily get started with the dedicated email of the MalwareKiller Forum, we have used MailCow to set it up. It not only includes a very complete and standardized email service but also an email background, allowing you to use this email easily and freely.
This tutorial is divided into the following sections:

Email Account Management Background:
The email account management background primarily undertakes the crucial responsibility of managing various settings of the email account. The specific aspects covered are as follows:
- Functional Permission Control: You can independently enable or disable various functional permissions to meet personalized usage requirements.
- Password Recovery Email Setup: Flexibly set up the email address for password recovery to ensure the security of your account.
- Login Password Modification: Modify the email login password at any time to safeguard the confidentiality of your account.
- Two-Factor Authentication Toggle: Enable or disable two-factor authentication as needed to further enhance account security.

Notes:
- Initial Login and Password Change: After successfully applying for an email account for the first time, you must log in to the above address. Once logged in, the system will automatically prompt you to change the password. You can either set a commonly used password or choose to automatically generate a high-strength password to enhance account security.
- TLS Encryption Settings: The TLS encryption method we adopt is to use TLS for outbound traffic by default. It is not recommended to enable using TLS for inbound traffic by default, as this may lead to issues where you are unable to receive emails.
- Login Information Management: This background will record all kinds of your recent login information. If necessary, you can manually clear this information to protect your personal privacy.
- Problem Feedback Channel: If you encounter any problems during the usage process, you can raise them in the internal section. We will follow up in a timely manner and handle them properly.

Logging in to the Web Version of the Email for Convenient Sending/Receiving of Emails:
We provide you with a convenient web version of the email, which is convenient for you to send and receive emails. Of course, if you have more personalized needs, you can also choose to directly use the relevant email interfaces (#4) to use the email.

Notes:
- The web version of the email mainly focuses on the functions of sending and receiving emails. It does not have any functions of the management background and can only be used for sending, receiving emails, and some basic operations, such as viewing emails and marking emails.
- If you encounter any problems during the use process, you are welcome to raise them in the internal section. We will quickly follow up and make every effort to handle them to ensure that your user experience is not affected.

Logging in to Send/Receive Emails Using Third-Party Clients (SMTP, IMAP, etc.)
We provide you with a complete set of email ports, which facilitates you to use any third-party client you are familiar with to access our email service and easily send and receive emails.

Notes:
- Secure Login Method: If you attach great importance to email security and do not want to directly use your email password to log in on third-party clients, we support you in generating an independent application password. The specific operation process is as follows: Go to the email account management background - Application Password - Add Application Password. Through this process, you can choose to add independent passwords for different protocols to further protect the security of your account.
- Explanation of Password Validity: The application password you set and your email password are both valid at the same time. When logging in on a third-party client, you can enter the generated application password as a substitute for the email password, effectively reducing the risk of your email password being leaked.
- Suggestions for Client Selection: Please be sure to use trusted third-party clients. Untrusted third-party clients may have security vulnerabilities, leading to the leakage of your personal information or other security risks.
- Problem Feedback Channel: If you encounter any problems during the use process, you are welcome to raise them in the internal section. We will follow up and handle them in a timely manner to provide you with high-quality technical support.

邮箱账号管理后台：
邮箱账号管理后台主要承担着管理邮箱账号各类设置的重要职责，具体涵盖以下方面：
- 功能权限控制： 可自主开启或关闭各类功能权限，满足个性化使用需求。
- 密码找回设置： 灵活设置用于找回密码的邮箱，确保账号安全。
- 登录密码修改： 随时修改邮箱登录密码，保障账号的保密性。
- 两步验证开关： 按需开启或关闭两步验证，进一步提升账号安全性。

注意事项：
- 首次登录与密码修改： 首次成功申请邮箱后，务必登录上述地址。登录后系统会自动弹出修改密码提示，你既可以设置常用密码，也能选择自动生成高强度密码，以增强账号安全性。
- TLS 加密设置： 我们采用的 TLS 加密方式为默认出站使用 TLS 。不建议开启默认入站使用 TLS，因为这可能会引发无法接收邮件的问题。
- 登录信息管理： 此后台会记录你最近的各类登录信息，如有需要，你可手动清理这些信息，以保护个人隐私。
- 问题反馈渠道： 若在使用过程中遇到任何问题，可在内部版区提出，我们会及时跟进并妥善处理。

- 密码有效性说明： 您所设定的应用密码与邮箱密码同时有效。在第三方客户端登录时，输入生成的应用密码，即可替代邮箱密码，有效降低邮箱密码泄露风险。
- 客户端选择建议： 请务必使用可信的第三方客户端。不可信的第三方客户端可能存在安全漏洞，导致您的个人信息泄露或其他安全风险。
